Series 24 MAC Valve

10mm Pilot Assist Solenoid Operated 5/2 and 5/3 Valves

We are pleased to announce the release and availability of the new 24 Series valve. The 24 Series valve is a 10mm solenoid pilot operated 4 way valve. This valve utilises a new 3 way pilot which is powered by the existing "R" type solenoid that is currently used on the 33, 43, 83 and the plug-in version of the ISO-01 and ISO-02 valves. An air only return version (standard - minimum operating pressure of 25psi) and a spring return version (optional - minimum operating pressure of 35 psi) are available.

This initial release of the 24 Series is the non plug-in version available as an inline and base mount body.

There are also two different pilot options. The standard pilot is the EX2 (12mm) model. The 12mm refers to the height of the pilot. For the pilot exhaust to main exhaust option (Mod 0353) a taller EX7 (17mm) pilot is required.

The configurations listed above are all available with this initial release of the 24 Series. In the near future there is a planned release of a plug in version for the individual base, manifold and circuit bar models. Also, the MAConnect™ option as well as a plug in sandwich regulator and flow control will be available.

The unique characteristics of the 24 Series make it a very attractive valve. It has over 50% more flow than a leading Japanese manufacturers closest equivalent in a much smaller package. Compare a 5 station, non plug in, base mount manifold to the same competitor equivalent and the 24 Series envelope size is 1.4 times smaller.
